Whether I paint a landscape, still life, or figurative work, I strive to demonstrate the beauty in everyday moments. A dilapidated barn on a country road, my daughter playing in the sand with her buckets, the farm you pass every day on your way to work; are all daily treasures that you can choose to recognize or pass by without notice. I have been working in oil pastels, experimenting and incorporating them with other media and on different supports.
